Quand tout augmentait, elle r\u00e9sistait. Quand le portefeuille criait famine, elle r\u00e9pondait pr\u00e9sente. Aujourd\u2019hui, elle h\u00e9site.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les march\u00e9s tunisiens, la tomate a pris des airs de produit de luxe discret. Rouge, brillante, presque arrogante sur son \u00e9tal. Le piment, lui, n\u2019a jamais aussi bien port\u00e9 son nom : il pique d\u00e9sormais aussi au moment de payer. Quant aux \u0153ufs, longtemps fid\u00e8les au poste, ils observent la sc\u00e8ne avec une certaine dignit\u00e9, mais finissent eux aussi par peser dans l\u2019addition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00e9sultat : pr\u00e9parer une simple chakchouka devient un petit exercice de gestion budg\u00e9taire. On ne cuisine plus, on arbitre. Mettre un piment ou deux ? Ajouter un \u0153uf ou pr\u00e9server le reste de la bo\u00eete ? Et l\u2019huile d\u2019olive, faut-il vraiment \u00eatre aussi g\u00e9n\u00e9reux qu\u2019avant, ou apprendre \u00e0 verser avec parcimonie, presque avec \u00e9motion ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-les-chiffres-parlent-d-eux-memes\">Les chiffres parlent d\u2019eux-m\u00eames<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les chiffres parlent d\u2019eux-m\u00eames. En avril 2026, le kilo de tomates tourne autour de 3,4 dinars selon des donn\u00e9es r\u00e9centes, un niveau jug\u00e9 \u00ab encore \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00bb malgr\u00e9 une l\u00e9g\u00e8re baisse . \u00c0 titre de comparaison, les moyennes nationales oscillent autour de 2 dinars, avec de fortes variations selon les circuits et les p\u00e9riodes . Le piment, autre ingr\u00e9dient central, fait \u00e9galement partie des produits les plus signal\u00e9s pour leur chert\u00e9 sur les march\u00e9s. En int\u00e9grant l\u2019huile d\u2019olive et les autres ingr\u00e9dients, une chakchouka familiale d\u00e9passe d\u00e9sormais facilement les 8 \u00e0 9 dinars, voire plus selon la qualit\u00e9 des produits et le lieu d\u2019achat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-un-barometre-economique\">Un barom\u00e8tre \u00e9conomique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La chakchouka, autrefois r\u00e9flexe populaire, se transforme en barom\u00e8tre \u00e9conomique. Elle raconte mieux que les chiffres officiels ce que vivent les m\u00e9nages. Un luxe silencieux, celui qui s\u2019installe doucement, sans bruit, jusqu\u2019au jour o\u00f9 l\u2019on se surprend \u00e0 dire : \u00ab ce soir, on va faire autre chose\u2026 c\u2019est plus raisonnable \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et c\u2019est peut-\u00eatre l\u00e0 le vrai signal d\u2019alerte. Quand la chakchouka recule, ce n\u2019est pas seulement une recette qui change.
