Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une premi\u00e8re au Royaume, le Maroc s’appr\u00eate \u00e0 lancer, tr\u00e8s prochainement, un premier satellite d’observation.\u00a0En effet, la mise en orbite de ce satellite sera effectu\u00e9e le 8 novembre prochain depuis Kourou, en Guyane fran\u00e7aise, ville qui abrite une base spatiale. Un deuxi\u00e8me satellite marocain devrait \u00eatre lanc\u00e9 en 2018, selon Huffpost Maroc.<\/p>\n

Baptis\u00e9 Moroccan EO Sat1, le satellite est construit par l’entreprise fran\u00e7aise Thales Alenia Space, avec Airbus Defence and Space.
\nLe Maroc deviendra ainsi le troisi\u00e8me pays d’Afrique, apr\u00e8s l’Egypte et l’Afrique du Sud, \u00e0 avoir son propre satellite d’observation.<\/p>\n

Le contrat avait \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 en toute discr\u00e9tion en avril 2013 lors de la visite de l’ancien pr\u00e9sident fran\u00e7ais Fran\u00e7ois Hollande \u00e0 Rabat, quant au montant des deux satellites, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9 par le m\u00e9dia Fran\u00e7ais La Tribune s\u2019\u00e9levant \u00e0 500 millions d’euros.<\/p>\n

Ces deux satellites permettent de prendre des images du territoire marocain \u00e0 tr\u00e8s haute r\u00e9solution, 70 centim\u00e8tres dans une bande de 800 kilom\u00e8tres, et sont capables de prendre quotidiennement 500 images et de les envoyer \u00e0 la station au sol toutes les six heures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
